Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal to Sicamous

• Meet your DC Student Adventure Tour Guide at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal at 10:30 am (depart on the 9:00 am ferry from Swartz Bay). Your guide will be in a bright green uniform in the arrivals area.
• Stop in Hope for lunch (own expense)
• Drive through the scenic Coquihalla Highway, Okanagan Valley, and Canada’s only desert area
• Check into your overnight accommodations in Sicamous
• Pizza dinner included at the hotel
• 10:00 pm Room checks

Day 2: Sicamous to Banff

• 6:00 am Wake up calls
• 6:15 - 7:00 am Breakfast included in your hotel
• Check out and drive through Mount Revelstoke National Park with snow-capped peaks
• Stop at Roger’s Pass Interpretive Centre
• Lunch stop in Golden (own expense)
• Explore Lake Louise
• Sightseeing tour in Banff including Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, and Banff Avenue
• Banff Gondola ride to Sulphur Mountain summit for scenic views
• Check into hotel
• Evening free to explore Banff and dinner on your own
• 10:00 pm Room checks

Day 3: Banff

• Breakfast included in the hotel
• Optional activities (additional cost):
  • Skiing at Lake Louise Ski Resort
  • Tubing at Lake Louise
  • Johnston Canyon Ice Walk
• For those not participating, join your guide for extended Banff tour and shopping
• Evening free to enjoy hotel amenities, shop, and dine on Banff Avenue (own expense)

Day 4: Banff to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

• 6:00 am Breakfast included in hotel
• 7:00 am Depart for Tsawwassen
• Washroom break in Golden
• Lunch at Aberdeen Mall in Kamloops (own expense)
• Arrive at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal in time for the 7:00 pm ferry
